Technology of mapping underground sites and infrastructure

Georadar registers the changes in electrical characteristics (conductivity and permeability / permeability) of the environment, which are directly related to the type of soils and rocks and to the physical and chemical properties, sending by electromagnetic signal to the ground surface by means of its two-frequency antenna (simultaneously on both frequencies) below it and records the strength of the reflected signal and the time it takes to return it to the receiver.

When the electromagnetic waves propagate in depth through layers or objects with different dielectric constants, the boundary between them is automatically delineated on the automatically drawn radargram. This makes it possible to accurately read the location (1-3 cm) of the GPR system while moving along the intersections (representing the geodetic fingerprint on the ground when performing each individual scan of the common project) and localized underground objects respectively during the field work.
